Garden to Table

Last  Wednesday the class made zucchini fritters for the school. First, we got zucchini from the garden.
Harrison grated the zucchini then Ms Cummins got the salt and she put the salt in with the zucchini. We
waited so the salt could dissolve into the zucchini. Then we got eggs and cracked eggs into bowls.  Bella
got the flour from Miss Cummins’ house while she was getting the flour we started to cut the spring
onion and mixed it into the eggs. We then added the zucchini and flour. When it was done we put the
zucchini fritters on the stove and made a salad. We were finished, then every kid had one and zucchini
fritter and salad. Even the teachers had one and salad.

  1. Great work, Elizabeth. I had more than one fritter, I was such a greedy thing. They were really delicious.
